OPTIMA-HD.CW/CWD Chilled Water Precision Air Conditioner for Critical Applications

The OPTIMA-HD will save precious space for customers requiring high cooling density and high air volume; the maximum cooling density= 80kW/m2 (two circuits working at the same time). OPTIMA-HD fits B/D sized cabinets and can supply air with an under-floor fan section.

High Efficiency
OPTIMA-HD uses chilled water as the coolant. Chilled water enters the cooling coil and exchanges heat with the returned air to lower the room temperature. By increasing the return water temperature, the EER of the chiller is optimised and by using free cooling circuits, more energy is saved. The free cooling system has priority operation for dual cooling coils.

Good Structural Design and Easy Maintenance
DATACOOL-PACKAGE units can be fully maintained from the front and offer two structure types: packaged and segmental. A packaged structure facilitates installation whereas a segmental structure is easier to transport. The packaged structure includes the main unit and a fan box, these are assembled at the worksite.

High Sensible Heat Ratio
The sensible heat ratio of all these units is higher than 0.9. DATACOOL-PACKAGE units have a wide working range (-30°C ~ 45°C).

Fully Automatic Control
Equipped with a fully automatic control system which automatically selects mechanical cooling or free cooling according to the temperatures of the indoor/outdoor sides. The controller will also change the working unit to automatically balance working time between two units. DATACOOL-PACKAGE units are capable of automatic reversion to the fresh air cooling mode upon mechanical failure and have a random restart feature when power is restored.

Attended Mode Function
When service people are working on the base-station they can simply press two buttons on the controller interface, then the control temperature of the air conditioner will be set as 24℃ (configurable) automatically. Half an hour later (or at a time of your choosing) the control temperature of the air conditioner will be returned to the original point.

Four levels of password protection, voltage protection and alarms provide the unit with full protection.

Automatic Self-diagnosis
The unit has an automatic self-diagnosis procedure and a service engineer can start this check by pressing only one button.

Running Data Logging
If the interval for data logging is less than five minutes, the controller can store at least 48 hours of working data. DATACOOL also offers remote monitoring/control of the operating state of the unit via a web server card.

FREECOOL-HD Intelligent Control Free Cooling Unit

The FREECOOL-HD intelligent ventilation unit is suitable for telecom shelters and small data centres; the unit introduces lower temperature fresh air from outdoors to cool the equipment room. FREECOOL units can significantly reduce running hours in comparison to other air conditioning units, achieving a power/energy saving of around 30~90%.

The FREECOOL-HD has very low power consumption and uses EC fans which adjust the air volume automatically according to the temperature difference. With a large air volume, high cooling density and luxuriant control functions FREECOOL-HD meets requirements for precision temperature control and cleanliness in any equipment room.

The FREECOOL-HD without refrigeration system offers easy installation and convenient maintenance. FREECOOL-HD units offer options to suit the needs of different customers and are available in two different air flow schemes: up flow and down flow, and two installation positions: outdoor and indoor.

Easy Installation/Maintenance
The main components can be accessed and maintained from the front of the unit. The unit passed a transportation test to confirm that the structure is strong enough to transported even where passage is difficult. The unit framework is also protected by an anti-corrosion treatment. FREECOOL-HD offers flexible installation types: indoor packaged, indoor split, outdoor packaged, outdoor split.

Control of Other Air Conditioners
When the FREECOOL-HD unit has satisfied the cooling demands of the base station, the controller sends a signal to stop other air conditioners at the site.

Completely Automatic Protection
A controller monitors the running status of components and will stop operation of the relevant component and raise an alarm in case of any failure.

CHILLROW Row Cooling Precision Air Conditioner

CHILLROW is a new solution for increasing energy efficiency for data centres. These units are designed to be installed proximately to server cabinets and offer independent refrigeration. The unit can remove a high-density heat load through its horizontal air supply scheme. When installed close to a heat source CHILLROW can increase the cooling capacity of any cooling system.

Saves Operating Costs
Placing the unit close to a cabinet/heat load avoids mixing of cold and hot air and can improve the whole system efficiency by 30%~45%. Adopting chilled water as the cold source for the central air conditioning equipment can improve the energy efficiency of the host.
